Downtown Fayetteville
Posted in General on November 21st, 2005They began decorating Downtown Fayetteville this weekend for Christmas.
On the 25th of November, they will have a “A Dickens Holiday” event downtown, where you can take a carriage ride, and other festive activities. The Dickens Holiday events are sponsored by the artscouncil.
My daughter and I went walking, through the festival park area in which they have erected two fountains. This new park is also near, the aviation display that was erected for the celebration of aviation that Fayetteville had a year or so ago.
With it being a bit chilly, we then stopped a Rude Awakenings for some hot Chocolate. They have wireless access for those that purchase something at the cafe! So I will have to return with my laptop or pda, to test it out.
After getting warmed up, we drove over to Clark Park and visited their exhibits which include a live king snake and some turtles in a pond habitat.
I have posted some pictures in a public album.
